Weigel Lab - leafy mutant alleles

The list below shows information on 30 alleles. Reference alleles are lfy-6 (strong) and lfy-5 (weak) in Landsberg erecta, and lfy-1 or lfy-12 (strong) and lfy-2 (weak) in Columbia. If you want to obtain mutant seeds, please contact the stock center (see right most column).

Several alleles have the same nucleotide change, and the three strong reference alleles as well as the two weak reference alleles have the same sequences.

You may also want to consult the page on CAPS markers for genotyping information.

The LEAFY sequence can be found in GenBank under accession M91208. The numbering refers to the longest splice form, which produces a 424 aa protein.
